Will do...had my first gig with it last weekend. Big outdoor stage with huge woofers underneath and pretty loud monitors. Everything worked a treat...I didn't even have to adjust the thresholds. Obviously, I'll give it more of a run before declaring it a success, but the first outing couldn't have gone more smoothly. Rob's created an amazing tool and it integrates with my rig amazingly well.

A global thresh compensation control for the entire device might be a good feature for use in live situations.

Sorry to piggyback on this thread, but this would be a fantastic feature Rob! I use the edrumin 10 live. Normally I have the threshold settings set quite low to give me the best possible dynamic range. It's not often an issue so I like to keep them that way, but for example I was playing at a wedding at the weekend and the fact my drums were on floorboards vertical to the (dancing) audience caused some interesting mis-triggers!

Needless to say, no one else noticed, but the odd floor tom/tambourine etc. going off was a bit distracting and in those situations you don't have time to make pad by pad adjustments, so a global 'offset' would be extremely useful.

I'd be really grateful if you'd consider implementing this. Thanks!

Just updating this for posterity. It's been about a dozen shows with this setup, in rooms ranging from 250-2000 capacity, indoor and outdoor, quiet stages and very loud stages (with stage-shivering subwoofers). I'm pleased to report that my eDrumIn has functioned perfectly. For whatever reason, I have had to make threshold adjustments on one of the triggers on a couple of occasions, but the software made that a quick task, easily accomplished within the scope of a sound check.

I really don't know what else I could ask for out of the unit that it isn't already delivering. If anyone else is thinking of taking this particular plunge, my experience would suggest that there's no reason not to.

I'm planning to use my A2E setup live in a few months. I use 2-eDrumin units to a usb hub -> MacbookPro 16" -> usb-c MOTU M2->headphone and line out to mixer.

It works great with SD3 but I'm looking for something with multiple outputs so I can send the snare, kick and OHs to separate channels on the mixer for FOH.

I know there are a lot of audio interface options. Any recommendations for units with multiple outputs and low latency, stable with Mac? I don't need a nice AD, just decent DA and good headphone outs. Internal mixer would be a plus.

I just play at home. I did some research for a similar interface. Scarlet 18i8 might be what you are looking for.

Yeah, I see! Years ago, I grabbed a used M-Audio Fast Track Ultra (8x IN, 8xOUT) and it's still here working with
SD3. Multiple Outputs are great. I have the monitors speakers, the headphone amp, the buttkicker amp...

Now, I think I would go for a TASCAM device:

The XR18 is an interesting option as it can double up as a small mixer for other events. I'm curious how the latency is when going usb to a computer.

I just tried a MOTU 624 and was able to get it to output 6 channels from SD3 to independent outputs on the back AND I can create a headphone mix of the 6 channels for the drummer. I can also mix in live channels (vocals, instruments) to feed into the headphone mix. Plan to try it at an upcoming rehearsal.
