For the crash that's triggering seemingly randomly, you need to increase the thresh control. It's too low and so it's triggering on random noise.
For the link control, here's the section from the manual describing how it works.

Two zone snare piezo rim
Re: Two zone snare piezo rim
Click link, then click your HH pad. The icon will change to a Blue HH, so you know it's done.TheJay wrote:In the new release I see "link" in pedal settings but don't understand how to link it. Pressing the button seems to do nothing.MWJT42 wrote:Check your 'link' between pedal and pad in eDRUMin.TheJay wrote:I reset all the modules and there snare and rim are working. Hi hat is killing me though. Everything is an open hi hat sound. How do I reset any changes in SD3 back to original settings for the add-ons?
Re: Two zone snare piezo rim
Thanks, that changed image to hi hat instead of cymbal.
I thought I had it sussed until I tried to enable three zone. Now bell is dominant.
Same with three zone ride.

Re: Two zone snare piezo rim
When you enable Bell Sense (three-zone cymbal) make sure you select one of the presets underneath the rotary control and fiddle with the knob values to adjust the bell sensitivity.

Related: it’s my understanding that these presets are different algorithms, and I’ve found that selecting one based on the model name of cymbal you have doesn’t necessarily yield the best results. Maybe they should be labeled something like “low/medium/high sensitivity”?monospace wrote:When you enable Bell Sense (three-zone cymbal) make sure you select one of the presets underneath the rotary control and fiddle with the knob values to adjust the bell sensitivity.

Re: Two zone snare piezo rim
Thanks Mono, perhaps that would be a better idea having sensitivity names. These are custom cymbals wired like CY15.
How come calibration doesn't adjust those types of settings? I did play with the the details als and didn't see any difference?

Re: Two zone snare piezo rim
Calibration only adjusts the settings Gain, Thresh, Scan, Hold, and Decay. On drums it also adjust X-Stick and Rimshot, and on cymbals Edge and Bell. All other settings need to be manually enabled and adjusted.

Re: Two zone snare piezo rim
You have diamond low volume cymbals, wired as roland cy-15 but not recognized by the edrumin as such (3zones), you will have to wait until Dave comes out with a possible solution or until Rob takes a look at these cymbals.TheJay wrote:Thanks Mono, perhaps that would be a better idea having sensitivity names. Re: Two zone snare piezo rim
I don't understand what difference it makes. What's the problem with having custom cymbals so long as they are wired correctly?
Re: Two zone snare piezo rim
Dave did extensive testing using a Roland TD17 module so it should work well with eDRUMin.
