Good afternoon
I have a Roland TD25KV, the module "trigger" menu shows up a separate head and rim screen when each is struck, however the rim adjustments don't actually work they just mimic the head settings. I think I have checked this with Roland, "the rim trigger settings are not available"?
I am very interested in the E- Drum- in module for all sorts of good reasons but wondered if a specific issue I have might be addressed through your module?
I have the VSL - Synchron Power Drums VST, the rimshot articulation has a peculiar velocity setting, instead of adjusting velocity in the normal way it has a fixed velocity strength (very strong) but velocity changes (made in an editor, not possible in the module) change the rimshot sound - from a crack to a musical ping. The rimshot sounds are fine and well sampled but at very high velocity levels that are way above the rest of the instrument.I have raised this with Vienna Symphonic Library support and they may look in to it, not holding my breath!
From a playing point of view of course I am stuck with no way of reducing sensitivity on the rim of the PDX100 despite it having two sensors.Any ideas?
Rimshot/Cross-stick adjustment
Re: Rimshot/Cross-stick adjustment
I'm here to do technical support for Roland, but I can confirm that eDRUMin devices definately offer separate velocity controls for rimshots.

Thanks for the prompt reply, sounds like I might be able to address the issue with E- Drum in- 10. Hope you will have units available soon, I am on the list.
Sorry about all the Roland stuff but just trying to give you some context.
Kind regards
