I have this one 13" pad that triggers excellently well on the head and the rim. Rimshots are very difficult to achieve, though. I thought I could lower the dark green bar, so that rim hits above a certain volume would trigger the rimshot. But in this pad's case, the rim hits seem to be farther to the right than it's possible to get my green bar to go. Even though it looks like the green is all the way over to the right, and it also looks like the white hit indicator is within the dark green.
This screenshot is a hard rim hit that triggers a SS, though I'd want a RS. I've tried this on multiple software versions, multiple ED units (I have 2 10's and a 4) and with multiple cables. I assume there's an issue with the pad's trigger setup, but it triggers so well on head and rim. The screenshot shows, it's triggering a 127 velocity SS note. Any suggestions on what might be causing this?

Re: Difficult to trigger rimshots
It’s a Boom Theory Space Muffins, same as my toms and bass drum.

That should trigger the rimshot. I'll have a look at my code. There's probably an edge case I haven't considered.
